Sunday was beautiful, in so many ways. Thank you to everyone who supported the Husky Help & Hope Walk. We are encouraged by our successes (among them, more than 300 participants and more than $7,500 for campus initiatives!), and look forward to continue working for this cause alongside Forefront.
See the front page of intheforefront.org to read a recap of the day, and special thanks to Alex Tran for the great article and Sarah Rothman for taking beautiful photos!
Post-walk updates coming soon….stay tuned.
The third annual suicide awareness walk and the FIRST Husky Help & Hope walk to benefit Forefront is THIS SUNDAY, May 18, at 11am in Red Square. See our “H3 Walk” tab for more information!
Lots of events coming up in the near future! Comment here or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.

Help us raise money to put on the H3 Walk! We will be holding a bake sale at the View Ridge PCC from 12pm – 6pm on Sunday, April 6. Please consider baking something to donate, or come by to get some delicious baked goods. Email Emily Murphy at email@example.com if you are able to bake something to donate. Thank you!
It’s time to hit the ground running spring quarter, as we have lots of events scheduled and plans for the H3 Walk are going full steam ahead! Please join us this Monday at 5pm in Savery 164.
Have a great weekend!
Today, Governor Inslee signed ESHB 2315 into law, making Washington the first state in the country to require suicide prevention training for doctors and nurses. HSPA members Beau, Collin, and Juliana helped to advocate for this bill last month, and all of us at HSPA are so grateful to Forefront for organizing these phenomenal, historic efforts.
Good luck on finals, everyone! If you’re on our email list, look out for an end-of-quarter email toward the end of this week with updates — if you’re not on our email list and want to be, click “Get Involved” on the left. Next quarter, meetings will continue to be on Mondays at 5pm.
Enjoy the sunshine this week!
